Job Title: Advance Team Member Charles Schwab Challenge
Location: Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, TX
Job Type: Temporary, Event-Based
Job Summary:
The Advance Team plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial Country Club. Team members will be responsible for pre-event setup, logistics coordination, and operational support to ensure all aspects of the tournament are properly prepared before the event begins.
Key Responsibilities:
Ā Assist with the setup and breakdown of tournament infrastructure, including signage, hospitality areas, media zones, and operational stations.
Ā Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation of necessary equipment.
Ā Conduct site inspections to verify that all elements align with tournament standards and operational plans.
Ā Support the tournament team in managing player services, sponsor activations, and guest experience areas.
Ā Assist with credential distribution and access control for staff, volunteers, and VIPs.
Ā Serve as a point of contact for last-minute logistical needs and troubleshooting.
Ā Ensure that all pre-event preparations meet PGA TOUR regulations and event-specific requirements.
Ā Maintain clear communication with Colonial Country Club staff, tournament directors, and security teams.
Ā Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the event.
Qualifications:
Ā Previous experience in event operations, sports management, or hospitality preferred.
Ā Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ā Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
Ā Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ā Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs. and work extended hours, including early mornings and weekends.
Ā Must be 19 years of age or older.
Ā Knowledge of golf tournaments or experience with PGA TOUR events is a plus.
Ā Must be available for the full duration of the tournament setup period (May 5 - May 30, 2025).
Background check and drug screen required.
