Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Secretary to join our Department of Learning and Teaching team at Peoria Unified School District. Key Responsibilities:
Schedule meetings, conferences, interviews, and workshops, and maintain a schedule of appointments
Prepare correspondence, place and screen telephone calls, and coordinate tasks and projects
Provide feedback, direction, and guidance to staff, and communicate new or revised information to personnel
Maintain confidential personnel and student files, records, and databases
Process and monitor agreements, contracts, and applications, and perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; 1 year of experience in a professional office setting
Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills
Ability to pass a fingerprint and background clearance check
Typing speed of 55 wpm or higher
Arizona driver's license required
