We are searching for an Administrative Operations Assistant to join Oklo's Business Development and Data Center Solutions team. Position Description Oklo is seeking an experienced, dynamic, technically capable Administrative Operations Assistant to support our Power Origination and Business Development team. This role demands a combination of administrative prowess and the agility to navigate a fast-moving company at the nexus of the exciting industries of advanced fission (nuclear energy) and data centers. In your cover letter, please include, describe and link to any creative work you are particularly proud of whether that be an event you planned, artwork, article/blog post, a website you designed, or even a social media account Specific responsibilities may include: Provide comprehensive support to the Business Development and Data Center Solutions department as a whole, including calendar management, coordinating meetings, and handling travel arrangements Efficiently process and distill a high volume of incoming information, presenting it in a prioritized manner to the Business Development and Data Center Team Leads, and facilitating subsequent actions Prepare and edit presentations, reports, and other critical documents, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Manage confidential information with discretion, upholding the company's data protection standards Proactively address and resolve administrative and technical challenges Assist with project coordination, ensuring milestones are met and updates are communicated effectively Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects as required, showcasing resourcefulness and adaptability Schedule events with key stakeholders efficiently and smoothly Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Proven experience as an assistant or in a similar role, with a preference for those familiar within technical environments Strong technical proficiency with the ability to quickly adapt to new tools and software including Google Suite, Slack, Box, Atlassian, Asana, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Acrobat to make tracked changes, add redlining/comments to documents, and create PDFs Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to anticipate needs and challenges Bonus Qualifications: Bonus if located near Washington DC, Idaho Falls, or the Bay area, but not a requirement Knowledge of the nuclear power industry or data center industry is a plus, but not required Experience with GIS Experience in real estate Competencies We are looking for an Administrative Operations Assistant that is: Passionate about clean energy Passionate about making advanced fission a reality Able to keep a go get-it attitude and mindset Savy with technology and like learning new software Willing and able to learn quickly Eager to work on a dynamic team, receive constructive feedback, and grow with us Willing to think differently and do things in new ways Comfortable in a fast-paced, highly iterative startup environment Excited to think creatively, critically, and reflectively about the problems they are solving, while not leaning only on what has been done before Willing to propose novel and creative solutions to technical problems An excellent writer who can write in modern active voice, so make your cover letter compelling and write it well!
