Administration & Data Analyst, Disaster Case Management Programming

Working under the supervision of the Area Manager for Disaster Case Management Programming (DCMP), assisting with administrative and operational duties, as well as data collection and analysis. This position is responsible for supporting staff serving those impacted by the 2025 Los Angeles County wildfires and is essential to the programs’ success. They will perform administrative duties for programming, as well as support with data collection and analysis.This is a full-time temporary position with a duration of 6 months with a possibility of a 23 month extension. Key Responsibilities Collect, analyze, and synthesize data collected by a team of DCMs, Construction Cost Analysts, and relevant staff as they work with impacted householdsSchedule and coordinate staff meeting and other meetingsCoordinate pick-up and delivery of sensitive dataOrganize and maintain department files, electronic and physicalOrganize and coordinate supplies from our field operations teamsAssist in onboarding new programs staffServe as administrative liaison for DCMP with finance, communication, logistics, and HR depts.Maintain internal tracking system for all programs expenses to facilitate the approval of invoicesHelp prepare reports and grants applicationsAssist in making budget modifications and reviewing financial reportsAttend programs’ weekly meetings, bi-weekly leadership meetings, bi-weekly social media meetingsImplement social media platforms’ content strategies to build community onlineIdentify and interpret social media trendsPlan and coordinate social media posts for all programs with social media managerProvide administrative support to programs staff as neededOther duties as assigned Travel Within Los Angeles County, as needed Qualifications
Essential: High School degree or GED
Desired: Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data Science, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or Business Administration, or related field.Must have reliable transportation Skills & Competencies Ability to work independently and as part of a teamWork proactivelyDemonstrate academic or professional experience working with dataExcellent written and verbal communication skillsProficient in MS Office applications(including MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint)Ability to create charts, graphs, VLOOKUP, and pivot tables on ExcelDemonstrated experience in STATA, SPSS or other statistical softwareFlexible and adaptive to a frequently changing environmentExcellent organizational and problem-solving skillsClose attention to detail and a high level of accuracyCo-manage social media platformsBilingual in Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Korean, Armenian, or another language preferable Additional Information Interested candidates are invited to submit their resume and a cover letter detailing their qualifications and experience related to this role.
