Admin Assistant – Tutoring Operations (Part-Time, Remote – Virginia Only)

We’re seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual to support our day-to-day operations. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring students and families feel cared for and tutors are set up for success.
The Company
Prep with Jen is a boutique tutoring business specializing in standardized test prep for high school students. Founded in 2015, we strive to demystify the test prep process and empower students to reach their own potential.
Responsibilities:
• Respond professionally to parent and student inquiries
• Maintain accurate lesson and tutor records
• Track schedules, reschedules, and availability
• Prepare weekly summaries and support invoicing
• Flag unusual situations and assist with operational tasks
What We’re Looking For:
• Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
• Clear, professional communication
• Comfort with online tools (Google Sheets, email, scheduling software)
• Reliability and thoughtful judgment
Trial Period:
• 30-day trial capped at 15 hrs/week
• Paid at full hourly rate
• Helps ensure the role is a good fit for both sides
