Location: Newbury Park, CA
Salary: $20-$24 per hour DOE
Schedule: M - F 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
We are seeking a dedicated Customer Service Support Specialist to join a distribution team. This role supports the General Manager, manages data, and communicates with customers to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service. This is a temp to hire position with the potential to become a Customer Service Manager.
Responsibilities
⢠Create Excel spreadsheets with product data.
⢠Update and maintain master product files.
⢠Send invoices and shipment details promptly.
⢠Manage product data in shipping portals.
⢠Edit and upload images for web use.
⢠Respond to customer and supplier inquiries.
⢠Answer customer emails and phone inquiries.
⢠Process returns, exchanges, and cancellations efficiently.
⢠Handle out-of-stock notifications for orders.
⢠Print labels and reformat addresses for shipping.
⢠Greet visitors and ensure NDA compliance.
⢠Perform general clerical and support tasks.
⢠Supervise and train customer service team.
⢠Assign tasks and balance workloads daily.
⢠Develop and optimize customer service procedures.
⢠Resolve escalated issues beyond staff level.
⢠Monitor and improve departmental performance metrics.
⢠Track and enter data for accurate billing.
Requirements
⢠Demonstrated experience working within the consumer goods field.
⢠Expertise in Microsoft Excel, including the creation and use of complex formulas.
⢠Proven ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
⢠Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
⢠Familiarity with the Shopify platform is highly desirable.
⢠A dependable team member with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
⢠Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent; a College Degree is preferred.
