Key Responsibilities: Teach temporary part-time courses in the Conservatory for Performing Arts, including music, theatre, dance, and voice Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse students Assess student learning outcomes and provide constructive feedback Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the development of curriculum and programming Collaborate with colleagues to achieve academic and artistic excellence Essential Qualifications: A master's or higher degree in the discipline or subfield in which you teach (music, theatre, dance, or voice) At least five years of professional experience in the field, with demonstrated currency in the field at the time of appointment (work experience, publications, licensure, presentations, or equivalent within the last five years) Excellent teaching and communication skills Ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and administrators Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience at the undergraduate or graduate level Experience with online or blended course delivery Strong record of artistic or professional achievement in the field Skills and Competencies: Strong pedagogical skills and ability to adapt to diverse learning styles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Flexibility and willingness to teach a variety of courses, including evening and weekend sections Strong organizational and time management skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: Viterbo University is committed to supporting the professional development of its faculty members.
