Position Summary
This job announcement is to maintain a pool of qualified applicants to teach undergraduate/graduate courses in the following colleges on a part-time basis: College of Science, Engineering and Technology, College of Business, College of Education and Human Development, College of Liberal Arts, and College of Health Sciences.
Qualifications
Minimum Required Education
Master's degree.
Minimum Required Experience
A demonstrated professional disposition towardS teaching students in a college/university setting.
Minimum Required Licenses and/or Certifications
None required.
Qualifications
Comfort with technology to utilize online learning systems, online class software and college grading systems.
Teaching skills with an understanding of curriculum development, assessments and learning goals.
Knowledge in the subject area.
Skills and Abilities
Ability to collaborate with colleagues.
Analytical and observational skills.
Communication and presentation skills.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching undergraduate or graduate students.
Submitting grades in a timely manner.
Developing and managing the class/course syllabus.
Planning and creating lectures, in-class discussions, and assignments.
Following established expectations and protocols for the department.
Performing other duties as assigned.
