FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The Department of Nursing at Kingsborough Community College invites applications for adjunct teaching positions at the Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Assistant, Adjunct Associate and Adjunct Professor levels for the remainder of the 2024-2025 academic year. Candidates will teach undergraduate courses in Nursing (Fundamental, Medical-Surgical, Psychiatric and Maternal-Child. Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 5 years clinical experience is required. For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor: Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. For Adjunct Lecturer: Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully and ability to cooperate with others for the good of the institution. COMPENSATION Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour Salary commensurate with education, experience and qualifications.
