The Global Online College of Georgia Military College is now hiring adjunct professors in the Human Services discipline.
Applicants who are credentialed to teach more than one discipline are preferred. Other disciplines considered include Psychology, Sociology, and Social Work. Contracts are for 8 weeks, renewable upon availability of classes and satisfactory job performance. For the most consideration, please ensure to include attachments for all the documents listed below.
The application review process will commence immediately and will continue until the necessary positions have been filled.
Applicants must provide a letter of interest, current resume or CV, three letters of reference, a statement of teaching philosophy, and a copy of unofficial transcripts. These documents may be uploaded directly to each application. If hired, an official copy of transcripts related to the teaching position(s) will be required.
Due to the business restrictions in place for the state of California, New York, and New Jersey; GMC is unable to accept applications from candidates who reside and work in these states.
Criminal background check and drug screen must be cleared before any candidate may begin working.

Qualifications
For most teaching disciplines, applicants must hold a Masters degree or higher in the discipline advertised, or a Masters degree or higher in any discipline plus 18 graduate semester hours or 30 graduate quarter hours in the discipline advertised. Limited teaching opportunities exist for applicants with a Bachelor's degree or a Master's degree or higher in any discipline and relevant work or professional experience.
Teaching experience is highly preferred, particularly in a remote or virtual learning environment.
AD-Certification Type- Advanced Degree in Qualifying Field:
Masters Level or Higher Degree in a Qualifying Field as listed in the Faculty Certification Guidelines (or approved by Program Dean).
AD+CH/5-Certification Type Advanced Degree Not in Qualifying Field:
Masters Level or Higher Degree not in Qualifying Field but has 18sh (or equivalent) and/or 5 years of Relevant Work Experience in the Qualifying Field.
BD+7-Certification Type Bachelors Degree + 7 Years of Relevant
Work Experience:
Holds a Bachelors degree in the Qualifying Field and has 7 years of relevant work experience in the Qualifying Field.
BD+7-Certification Type LSS ONLY:
For LSS courses (000 Level), Faculty have to have a Bachelors degree in the qualifying field. (work experience is not required).#J-18808-Ljbffr
