Accreditation Reviewer
CACREP is seeking a full-time accreditation reviewer at the entry-level Accreditation Analyst level. The role involves facilitating accreditation reviews, ensuring compliance with standards, and providing guidance to various stakeholders involved in the accreditation process.ResponsibilitiesConduct Accreditation Reviews: conduct and coordinate reviews across reviewers, support review work by external reviewers and by the CACREP Board, and maintain accurate recordsProvide Expert Guidance and Support: clearly convey accurate information in response to internal and external inquiries, provide guidance and support to accredited programs and programs interested in seeking accreditation, and respond verbally and/or in writing to inquiries from external constituent groups, including faculty and administrators, students, and members of the publicEnhance Accreditation Process and Communication Effectiveness: identify and communicate challenges with and recommendations related to accreditation processes, and engage in organizational initiatives to improve accreditation processes, procedures, and record-keeping practicesSkillsA master's degree in counseling is preferredA master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Higher Education Administration, Healthcare, Business Administration) will be consideredThis is an entry-level accreditation reviewer positionStrong analytical and organizational skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsHighly organized and able to manage multiple projects and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as a member of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office 365Tolerance for ambiguityFamiliarity with accreditation management systems is desiredKnowledge of CACREP and/or programmatic accreditation desiredFamiliarity with the profession of counseling and/or counselor education practices is desiredPreference is given to individuals who live within a commuting distance to Alexandria, VA, or plan to live in this areaBenefitsMedical, dental, and vision coverageFlexible Spending Account optionLife insurance and short and long-term disabilityRetirement plan with matching upon eligibilityPaid holiday, vacation, personal, and sick leaveCommuter benefits optionEmployee Assistance ProgramCompany OverviewThe Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) accredits masterβs and doctoral degree programs in counseling and its specialties that are offered by colleges and universities in the United States and throughout the world.
