Join our dynamic team and be part of a company that's driving technological advancement and delivering exceptional value to its clients.About the RoleWe're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support our Finance department by managing incoming payments, ensuring timely collection of receivables, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role plays a vital part in the company’s cash flow and customer relationship process.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepares, posts, verifies, and records customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.Creates invoices according to company practices; submits invoices to customers.Maintains and updates customer files, including name or address changes, mergers, or mailing attentions.Drafts correspondence for standard past-due accounts and collections, identifies delinquent accounts by reviewing files, and contacts delinquent accountholders to request payment.Creates reports regarding the current status of customer accounts as requested.Research customer discrepancies and past-due amounts.Collaborates with the Controller to reconcile accounts receivable on a periodic basis.Assists in generating monthly billing statements based on the general ledger.Assists the controller in reconciling revenue accounts each month.Copies, files, and retrieves materials for accounts receivable as needed.Relays changes of information to appropriate employees.Performs other related duties as assigned.RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferredMinimum of two (2) years of related experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance roleExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and keen attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software programsSkilled in using office equipment, including computers, 10-key calculators, and copiersAbility to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environmentProactive, with the ability to anticipate work needs and interact professionally with clients and team members
