Youâll handle accounts receivable, general ledger entries, reconciliations, and support month- and year-end closing activities. This role also assists the Controller in financial reporting and inventory-related accounting.Work hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm EST, subject to flexibilityWork set-up: RemoteWhat youâll doThis role will focus on Accounts Receivable functions (60%), Month-End closing (40%), reconciliations, and audits.The position involves billing, cash receipts, credit memos, and various AR-related functions, including reporting and inventory oversight.Maintain and update accounting records and filesPost transactions and categorize records accurately in the general ledgerReconcile bank and credit card statementsSupport monthly and annual closing processesPrepare documentation for auditsManage customer billings including consignment, direct billing, warehouse shipments, and credit memosProcess incoming payments, notify customers of payment issues, and manage delinquent accountsWhat You BringDegree in Accounting required; Bachelorâs Degree strongly preferredAt least 3 to 5 years of experience in AccountingPrior experience in accounting, preferably with exposure to AR, month-end close, and audit preparationUnderstanding in inventory components is necessaryStrong Excel skills required (pivot tables, vlookup, manipulating reports)EPICOR experience or at least willingness to be trained, as long as you are proficient with similar accounting toolsFamiliarity with journal entries, reconciliations, and AR tracking reportsExperience with NetSuite and Salesforce is a plusPrevious experience in a manufacturing environment is a plusProficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft ExcelExperience with EPICOR or similar ERP systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsSelf-starter with the ability to meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environmentCPA is a plus, not requiredHiring ProcessWe utilize AI tools to enhance our hiring efficiency and ensure a fair evaluation of all candidates.
