Accounts Receivable Clerk I

SK pharmteco is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk I to provide foundational support to the finance team. This entry-level position involves assisting with routine accounts receivable activities, including invoice processing and payment application, while gaining exposure to core accounting processes. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and distribution of customer invoices and account statements under supervision Coordinate with internal teams to gather billing information and escalate discrepancies as needed Assemble invoicing documentation and ensure required information is included prior to submission Record and apply customer payments following established procedures Provide support for month-end close activities as assigned Assist with basic receivables reporting and data reconciliation Provide documentation and support for audits when requested Follow company policies, accounting procedures, and compliance requirements Identify potential billing issues and escalate to senior team members Participate in process improvement efforts and training initiatives Skills High school diploma or equivalent Basic organizational and time management skills Attention to detail and accuracy Effective verbal and written communication skills Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction Willingness to learn basic accounting concepts 0-1 years of related experience preferred Familiarity with accounting principles is a plus Company Overview AMPAC Fine Chemicals is a chemicals firm providing AMPAC fine chemicals, controlled substances, and highly potent APIs.
