We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Representative to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have experience processing accounts payable transactions using QuickBooks and Bill.com. Payroll processing experience is preferred but not required. This role requires accuracy, efficiency, and strong problem-solving skills to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, and expense reports.
Utilize QuickBooks and Bill.com for data entry.
Maintain vendor records and ensure compliance with company policies and tax regulations.
Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
Assist with monthly closing processes, including AP reconciliations and reporting.
Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to address inquiries and ensure smooth payment operations.
Support audit and tax preparation by maintaining accurate and organized financial records.
Assist with payroll processing as needed; ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations)
Qualifications & Skills:
Required: 2+ years of accounts payable experience.
Required: Proficiency in QuickBooks and Bill.com.
Preferred: Experience with payroll processing.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial transactions.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
Education & Experience:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
Experience in a similar AP role within a small to mid-sized business is a plus.
