Accounts Payable Clerk (Remote or Hybrid)

DataBank is headquartered in the historic former Federal Reserve Bank Building, in downtown Dallas, TX.Responsibilities • Prepare and process bills from purchase orders and other approved bills. • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances. • Charges expenses to accounts, bolthires centers and locations by analyzing invoice/expense reports; recording entries. • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities; verifying federal ID numbers; resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation; insuring credit is received for outstanding memos.• Maintains accounting ledgers by verifying and posting account transactions. • Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. • Ability to process and follow-up on rush items. • Maintains accounts payable files. • 1099 preparation. • Special projects as assigned.
