Job title: Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Specialist Company: Weiss North America Inc Job description: Accounts Payable-Accounts Receivable Specialist (Full-Time) WEISS North America, Inc – Willoughby, OH (Cleveland, OH) Hourly/Non-Exempt Job Description The AP/AR Specialist is primarily responsible for the company’s AP & AR duties. The position reports to the Staff Accountant and will be assigned special projects and additional tasks, as needed. Benefits • Full-time position • Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance on the 31st day of employment • 401K eligibility begins after the 60th day of employment • Pay is bi-weekly • Generous PTO policy Pay Range: Open to Discussion Job Responsibilities • Accounts Payable: • Reconcile and post vendor invoices • Work with purchasing department and other “approvers” to resolve discrepancies • Review vendor statements and responds to inquiries • Process weekly check/ACH disbursements • Accounts Receivable: • Credit and collections management • Review AR aging routinely and contacts past due accounts to request payment status • Respond to customer inquiries • Assists in the estimation of the bad debt allowance • Review bank account activity daily and • Post customer payments to accounts • Post Sales Shipments to Posted Sales Invoice status and transmits to customer • Perform other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as directed. Desired Skills & Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with a sense of urgency • Well organized with an aptitude for details • Effective verbal and written communication skills • Have the ability to multi-task and produce quality results under pressure • Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.) • Must be self-started and able to work independently with little supervision • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV ERP is a plus, but not required PI189805864 Expected salary: Location: Willoughby, OH Job date: Sat, 27 Aug 2022 07:40:35 GMT Apply for the job now!
