Accounting Manager/Controller
We are looking for an accounting manager to oversee the financial operations of Thermo Direct and make decisions based on the Company's financial stability. This position monitors cash flow and works closely with our management team to establish best practices for the Company's finances, with a focus on the strategic plan necessary to improve the Thermo Direct's overall financial health.
Accounting Manager Responsibilities
The Accounting Manager will manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including (but not limited to):
• Month and end-year process
• Accounts payable/receivable
• Cash receipts
• General ledger
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Revenue and expenditure variance analysis
• Accounts reconciliations
• Managing the accounting process within QuickBooks and ServiceTitan
• Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial reports or statements
• Establish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles
• Coordinate and complete annual audits
Accounting Manager Requirements
• Proven working experience as Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor, or Finance Manager
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, QuickBooks, accounting software, and databases
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to direct and supervise
• BS degree in Accounting or Finance
