Accounting Manager – Remote – CPG Advisory Firm Our client, a growing yet stable accounting advisory firm in the CPG space, is searching for an Accounting Manager. The company partners with various inventory-driven businesses to assist in both corporate accounting and the management of their e-commerce sales channels. This position will report directly to the Founder and will essentially be running their own book of business with the support of accounting staff. The ideal candidate has a CPA and is an expert in QuickBooks Online and has had exposure to a plethora of ERP systems. Responsibilities: • Full ownership over all aspects of accounting, reporting and financial operations for all client activities • Drive a timely monthly close process, financial consolidations, quarterly reviews and annual audits in accordance with U.S. GAAP • Prepare monthly operating budgets and support short and long-range forecasting activities • Develop and manage financial controls as clients scale through both organic and inorganic growth initiatives • Streamline financial operations with an emphasis on maximizing efficiency and timeliness of all close procedures and reporting requirements • Develop key accounting processes to support a rapidly growing company with an emphasis on delivering financial insights that will help drive informed executive decisions • Play a key role in the financial planning process; monitor and analyze operating results against plan and provide insights for potential improvements Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field • 5-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting at CPG businesses • Exceptional leadership skills with a proven track record building and managing a strong team • Fundamental understanding of inventory-related accounting concepts • Proficiency in Excel, preferably with experience in financial modeling • Experience utilizing QuickBooks Online and related ERP systems Salary: $100,000 - $150,000 Location: Remote The above salary range represents Advice's good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base compensation range at the time of posting and is not reflective of the total compensation package, which may also include benefits, equity and other non-cash incentives.
