About the Company and Opportunity:
Our client is a long-standing government contractor in the DMV.
Due to a vacancy, they are hiring an Accounting Manager to work 100% Remote.
Schedule is Mon-Fri regular business hours 8a-5p.
Duration: indefinite - possible contract-to-hire depending on needs of the business, performance, and fit.
Pay: $55-57/hr based on experience.

Overview of the Accounting Manager role:
Utilize PROCAS Accounting, Timekeeping, and Expense Reporting Software extensively.
Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks.
Assist in monthly book closings and prepare regular financial reports.
Ensure project costs and expenses comply with contractual obligations and Government regulations.
Develop, analyze, and prepare cost proposals for government and commercial clients.
Support end-of-year tax documentation processes.
Understanding of DCAA regulations.
Preferred Qualifications for the Accounting Manager:
Bachelors degree in accounting or related field
GOVERNMENT CONTRACTING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Procas experience is a plus
7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Proficient in Excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
