Accounting Manager - High Remote, Tech Hyperscaler
Kforce's client, a hypergrowth Artificial Intelligence startup headquartered in the heart of midtown Manhattan (New York, NY), is seeking its first Accounting Manager/Assistant Controller as it builds out its accounting team. Summary: This early-stage startup already has a Fortune 500 anchor customer + 50 other initial customer wins. This company offers great benefits, free health insurance, equity. The accounting and finance team are in the offices once a month; This role will be very high remote. Duties will include: • Month end close • Journal entries • Account analysis • Account reconciliation • Schedules • Financial statement prep • Process improvement • Support audit • But the VP Finance will also teach you FP&A (if you don't have it already) Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting; Advanced degree a plus • CPA • Public accounting experience • Big 4 experience a plus • SaaS or Artificial Intelligence industry experience a plus • Startup and scaling experience a plus • NetSuite experience a plus • ERP conversion experience a plus The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
