Accounting Manager -100% Remote - $150k-$170k + Bonus - Cleveland
Outstanding and very reputable Professional Services company downtown Cleveland is looking for an Accounting Manager for an immediate need. This is fully remote position after the first month and until get settled in the position.
MUST LIVE IN CLEVELAND AREA - this position will require in office meeting visit's from time to time.

Responsibilities:
ā¢ Manage and support an accounting team of 8, fostering collaboration and operational excellence
ā¢ Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
ā¢ Contribute to the preparation and review of financial statements and footnote disclosures in compliance with US GAAP
ā¢ Oversee general ledger functions (excluding revenue), ensuring consistency and accuracy
ā¢ Support intercompany transactions and currency exchange processes for global reporting
ā¢ Partner with FP&A and other teams to enhance cash flow forecasting and support data-driven decisions
ā¢ Help implement accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with audit and regulatory standards
ā¢ Support research and documentation for evolving standards and complex transactions
ā¢ Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals and objectives of the department/company
Qualifications
ā¢ Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
ā¢ 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including exposure to public accounting and SaaS environments
ā¢ Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to interpret standards
ā¢ A relentless commitment to attention to detail, producing high-quality, accurate financial reporting
ā¢ Hands-on experience preparing financial statements and footnote disclosures
ā¢ Experience supporting and mentoring accounting professionals
ā¢ Understanding of internal controls and experience with SOX or similar compliance frameworks
ā¢ Proficiency with Major ERP's and other financial reporting tools
ā¢ Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts and analyze data effectively
ā¢ Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment with a proactive mindset
