Accounting Assistant (PT) (w/ QuickBooks) (w/ Payroll) (Construction Industry)

Up to $25.00 per hour

Approximately 25 hours per week
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
8:00AM to 4:30PM

JobGiraffe's client is a construction services subcontractor.

As Accounting Assistant, you will:

- Join a small office team
- Utilize QuickBooks Software
- Provide a combination of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and administrative support
- Review client billing information for accuracy and completeness
- Enter, process and distribute supplier billings
- Review supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness
- Enter and process supplier billings
- Upload supporting documentation to the database
- Learn to review timekeeping information and process payroll runs
- Learn to assist with proposal and bid preparation processes for new projects
- Learn to administer construction documentation
- Maintain manual and electronic file systems
- Handle special projects
- Perform other duties as assigned

An ideal candidate profile will include:

- Accounting and/or Bookkeeping experience
- Accounts Receivable experience
- Accounts Payable experience
- QuickBooks experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

Pluses:

+++ Related experience from the Construction Industry
+++ Payroll Processing experience
+++ An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
