Job Description
Job Summary:
Under general supervision, utilizes communication and analytical skills to support the business by reporting, analyzing, and providing subject matter expertise and insights on various accounting, operational, marketing, and sales transactions empowering the business to make data-driven decisions.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Duties and Responsibilities:

Perform financial analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data. This may include, but is not limited to:
Extracting and analyzing financial data from SAP and other sources
Converting or reorganizing data into a comprehensible format that maximizes the delivery
Evaluating financial performance by reviewing, comparing, and analyzing actual results against budget, plans, and other performance indicators
Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in data sets that support diagnosis and prediction
Providing analysis of local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
Developing new financial models, reports, and tools maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation
Provide support for budget preparation and forecasting by identifying, investigating, and documenting root cause of significant variances between actuals and budget/ forecast.
Prepare, examine, and maintain weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports that support business decisions.
Provide support for the month-end close activities by investigating and documenting the root cause of variances exceeding established thresholds as well as preparing analyses used for booking journal entries; prepare ad hoc reporting.
Perform market research and update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, participating in professional organizations, to provide more robust reporting insights and trend analysis.
Identify and drive process improvements by reviewing current analytical processes and procedures to identify continuous improvement opportunities, recommending process changes, including automation that lead to efficiency, accuracy, robust controls, and higher work quality.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field of study and 3+ years related work experience OR
High School Diploma / GED and 7+ years related work experience
Knowledge of:
Intermediate to Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams, with an emphasis on fluency with Excel formulas and functions
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning software, e.g., SAP, Lawson, QAD, etc
Financial modeling techniques
Skilled in:
Verbal and written communication

Problem/situation analysis
Analytical analysis
Effective time and task management
Multitasking capabilities
Flexibility and adaptability
Ability to:
Communicate to a broad and diverse audience
Translate complex mathematical information into understandable reports

Preferred Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) and 5+ years related work experience
1+ years supervisory experience
Experience working with SAP and NetSuite
Experience using Power BI or Tableau
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Work Environment and Physical Demand:
Requires light physical effort. Occasionally lifts or moves light objects (up to 10 lbs.)
Walks, sits, or stands for extended periods.
Requires prolonged machine operation including vehicle, computer, and keyboard equipment.
Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills
