Position Summary
Records carrier invoices and prepares and sends business partners invoices related to services used.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
Collects data and documents from carriers and operations to review shipments.
Audits invoices to find and resolve any discrepancies to correct incorrect charges.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to validate carrier charges and correct loads to ensure proper workflow in systems.
Monitors accounting and operational boards in systems to ensure timely processed invoices.
Communicates with business partners to request proof of deliveries for billing.
Determines the financial impact of shipments that are delayed.
Investigates shipments that have been delivered but not billed.
Reviews contracts to determine the scheduled delivery date and resolves outstanding orders.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in business or a related field.
2+ years of billing experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation management applications.
Willingness to work flexible hours.
