Accountant (Warsaw, MZ, PL)

We are a global FMCG company who owns a portfolio of well-known brands in around 50 countries. We are currently looking for our accounting team located in Warsaw for a suitable person for the position of Accountant for one of European legal entities.
Main responsibilities:
Preparation of Group and statutory (local GAAP) financial statements in an accurate and timely manner
Coordination of financial closing processes
Coordination of contacts with any control institutions, tax administration, external and internal auditors and other
Preparation of other statutory reporting incl. VAT and Intrastat
Ongoing supervision over internal control environment of the entity
Ensure compliance with all external and internal requirements
Cooperation with external providers in the area of AR, AP and CIT
Building good relations, effective communication within group’s companies and colleagues
Ongoing supervision over the introduction of changes in the Company
Our requirements:
Master's degree in finance, accounting or similar field
Experience in similar position (2-3 years) in an international environment
Proficiency in English, additional European language will be a strong asset
Excellent computer literacy incl. SAP, Hyperion and Excel
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Great attention to details
Problem solving skills
Good organization skills and a willingness to learn
Teamwork spirit
