What You’ll Be Doing:
This role is all about precision and process. You’ll handle transactional accounting that ensures every dollar is tracked, posted, and reconciled correctly—especially when it comes to trust accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
Posting incoming payments and monitoring A/R and A/P activity
Managing trust accounts in accordance with established rules (we’ll train you!)
Monitoring and processing payments via platforms like LawPay and APX
Handling bank account activity including deposits, transfers, and ACH setups
Supporting collections and reporting for aging A/R
Participating in the finance phone queue to assist clients and take payments
What They're Looking For:
Previous experience in transactional accounting, ideally with A/R and A/P
Comfort with remote tools and accounting platforms
Detail-oriented and self-directed, with strong communication skills
Willingness to learn trust accounting protocols (training provided!)
Able to work approximately 20 hours/week with some flexibility
Location & Work Setup:
Hybrid preferred, with potential to work remote after training
Approx. 20 hours per week, with flexible scheduling
