You will serve as a trusted advisor for clients, helping them maintain financial health by overseeing general ledger functions, monthly reporting, reconciliations, and audits. This is a great opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who excels in remote collaboration and values building strong client relationships.Accountabilities:
Deliver monthly financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets, with accuracy and timeliness.
Support clients with budget input, contribution tracking, and managing expenses.
Oversee reconciliations in coordination with internal accounts payable and receivable teams.
Manage 1099 year-end vendor processing and documentation maintenance.
Standardize bookkeeping procedures for new clients and manage special financial projects.
Participate in audits, client meetings, and team initiatives to enhance service delivery.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and 10+ years of professional experience in financial reporting and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and general accounting systems.
Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, with a proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Demonstrated success in client-facing roles with a customer service focus.
Nice to have: experience with project management tools (Monday.com, Asana), non-profit accounting, and controller-level duties for small to mid-sized organizations.
