Find our office locations here. About the RoleOur Casualty Practice is looking for an Account Representative to join their collaborative and industrious account service team. The Casualty Practice provides risk management and consulting services to Technology, Life Science, Manufacturing, and other Commercial organizations, enabling them to understand their exposures and mitigate their losses. Your primary responsibility will be to support the book of business and account team in developing strong relationships with clients and carriers. You will play a crucial role in handling day-to-day client inquiries, analyzing client information, and assisting in the management and transfer of risk.What You’ll DoSupport the book of business and account team efforts of developing relationships with clients and carriersAnalyze client information and help clients understand, manage, and transfer risk from Account ManagersRespond to daily client inquiries and requests, ensuring exceptional client servicePrepare materials for client information requests, carrier submissions, proposals, and presentationsReview contracts and issue certificates of insurance for clientsContribute to client presentations, renewal marketing, and the process of planning for the future.Update and maintain account specifications within our agency management systemCoordinate the distribution of key insurance documents to clients, ensuring timeliness and accuracyCollaborate with accounting to resolve client billing issuesLearn how to successfully manage a book of business from Account ManagersThis job is for you if…You have a passion for building strong relationships and excel in client interactionsYou are a nimble learner with excellent judgmentYou possess exceptional task management and prioritization skillsYou thrive in a collaborative team environmentYou have strong communication skills and conflict resolution abilitiesYou pay close attention to detail, are well-organized, and thrive in a dynamic work environment with varied tasksExperience & QualificationsMinimum of two years of industry experience (broker or carrier side) preferredDesire to learn and be part of something specialExceptional communication skills - oral, written, phone, and interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and build client and internal relationshipsStrong analytical, organization, and time management skillsStrong collaboration skillsProficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint requiredHigh school diploma or equivalent experience required, college degree preferredRequired to obtain the applicable insurance license(s) within 90 days of date of hireDon’t meet every single preferred qualification? Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate. This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 8% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
