The Account Partner role focuses on managing relationships with small-to-medium-sized businesses to drive growth and retention on Uber Eats.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of SMB restaurant partners on Uber Eats, driving growth and retentionProactively identify risks & opportunities within your book of business, engaging merchants via outbound calls, performance reviews, and data-driven recommendationsConsult and upsell additional Uber Eats products and services to optimize merchant performanceBuild meaningful, long-term relationships to position Uber Eats as the go-to delivery platformMaintain consistent communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings where applicableChampion restaurant feedback to help shape internal strategy and drive insightsAct as an ambassador for Uber Eats, ensuring partners understand and leverage our platform's full potentialSkillsAt least 1 year of experience in a B2B, client facing role (Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or upper management retail/food industry)Candidates must be located in New York and able to follow the hybrid scheduleComfortable with traveling to visit with restaurants in person 20% of the monthProficiency in Salesforce and Google Suite or similar CRM toolsData proficiency: being able to take commercial data and making it digestible to our merchant partners (charts, graphs, and other visuals)Experience navigating the customer lifecycle including prospecting new contacts and upsell opportunities within an existing client organizationStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly frame a value proposition, probe for objections, remove obstacles, and eliminate barriers to gain commitmentHighly organized and detail-oriented, with a strong work ethicWillingness to roll up your sleeves and dive deep into partner relationships and business challengesExperience with negotiation of partnership contracts, communication under pressure, balancing partner needs and business objectivesBenefitsYou will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus programMay be offered sales bonuses & other types of compAll full-time employees are eligible to participate in a 401(k) planYou will also be eligible for various benefits.Company OverviewUber develops, markets, and operates a ride-sharing mobile application that allows consumers to submit a trip request.
