The Account Manager, Sports Partnerships, will drive new business growth and foster relationships within the sports and entertainment ecosystem, focusing on acquiring inventory and managing partnerships.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in daily inventory purchases and proactively identify new business opportunities within the sports industryAcquire inventory from sports rights holders, ensuring optimal selection and pricing strategyManage and nurture relationships with all sports partners, including leagues, venues, and strategic contactsWork with Pricing Team on assigned accounts to optimize sell-through rates and ensure appropriate sales strategiesConsistently achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotasMaintain accurate and detailed records in the CRM system, tracking interactions, follow-ups, and deal progressBuild strong executive-level relationships with key decision-makersLeverage existing networks to generate referrals and expand the company’s strategic account baseRepresent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, enhancing visibility and credibilityCollaborate closely with customer service, marketing, and product teams to meet and exceed client needsShare actionable market insights to influence product development, marketing positioning, and customer engagement strategiesPartner with marketing and product teams to create tailored collateral, proposals, and presentations for strategic sports clientsMeet or exceed daily call minimum, appointment expectations, and annual sales goalsBuild and maintain relationships with individuals and corporate decision-makers to drive salesConduct face-to-face and virtual sales presentations, customizing partnership options for each prospectManage the new client onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and professional customer experienceConsistently meet or exceed individual and team sales goalsMaintain an updated, accurate database of potential buyers and leads within the CRM system and proactively manage and update pipeline of new prospects, contact details and interaction historyHandle all incoming sales calls and prospect and qualify all potential sales opportunitiesEffectively execute sales campaigns and training programs as directedProvide excellent customer service at all timesSkillsBachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Marketing, or a related field preferred, but not requiredAt least one year of proven high-level sales success with strong performance and resultsExceptional presentation skills, with the confidence to deliver sales materials to large groups and key clientsAbility to handle confidential information with utmost discretion and professionalismProfessional demeanor, able to interact effectively with individuals at all organizational levels and external stakeholdersExcellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, collaboration, and team contributionOutstanding written and verbal communication skills, conveying ideas clearly and persuasivelyStrong organizational and time management abilities, prioritizing tasks and managing workloads efficientlyAdaptable and flexible, thriving in fast-paced environments with multiple prioritiesHighly dependable, consistently punctual, and responsive to feedback and managerial directionWillingness to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel as neededBenefitsFull-time, benefit-eligible positionValuable benefitsCompetitive time-off policiesCompany OverviewVegastickets.com is an entertainment ticket sales office located just west of the world-famous strip.
