Account Manager (client servicing role) (Part-Time / Freelance)

Job Title: Business Analyst / Client Engagement Consultant (Part-Time / Freelance) Location: Remote (U.S. Based) Time Zone: EST / PST Experience Required: Minimum 5+ years Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst / Client Engagement Consultant to join our team to work closely with our clients. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business analysis activities, gathering detailed requirements, and engaging directly with stakeholders to ensure project success. This role requires a strong communicator who can translate business needs into clear technical and functional specifications, while maintaining excellent client relationships throughout project lifecycles. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with client stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements. • Translate client needs into detailed and actionable project specifications. • Act as the primary liaison between the client and delivery teams during customer projects. • Facilitate workshops, interviews, and review sessions to ensure clarity and agreement on requirements. • Identify and document process improvements and business challenges through analysis. • Support project managers and technical teams by providing timely clarifications and detail. • Manage client expectations and communicate progress, risks, and issues promptly. • Drive customer engagement and foster strong, trust-based relationships. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. • 3+ years of experience in business analysis and client engagement, preferably in IT services or software projects. • Strong skills in requirements gathering, functional specification writing, and stakeholder management. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to engage US-based clients effectively. • Experience in workshop facilitation and business process analysis. • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools (JIRA, Confluence) is a plus. • Self-motivated, proactive problem solver with strong organizational skills. Preferred Experience: • Prior experience working with US-based clients and global teams. • Exposure to software development life cycles and cloud technology projects.
