Key Responsibilities: Identify and Cultivate New Business Opportunities: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities within State and Local Government agencies, consistently exceeding sales targets. Build and Nurture Relationships: Establish and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across various State and Local Government agencies to understand their needs and position solutions effectively. Develop a Deep Understanding of Government Processes: Gain a comprehensive understanding of the political, regulatory, and budgetary processes within State and Local Government, including procurement procedures and funding cycles. Trusted Advisor: Act as a trusted advisor to government agencies, conducting needs analyses and presenting compelling solutions that address their specific challenges. Manage Complex Sales Cycles: Skillfully manage complex sales cycles, navigating procurement hurdles and collaborating with partners to ensure successful deal closure. Essential Qualifications: Full-Cycle Sales Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle sales or equivalent experience, with a strong emphasis on cloud solutions, databases, business intelligence software, data warehousing, and SaaS. Proven Track Record: Proven ability to independently develop, manage, and close new client relationships at the CxO level within State and Local Government organizations. Established Network: Extensive network of key decision-makers in the State and Local Government sector and established relationships with relevant technology partners. Deep Understanding of Government Processes: Deep understanding of how State and Local Government organizations identify, evaluate, procure, and implement new technology solutions. Revenue Generation: Demonstrated track record of generating and expanding significant revenue within State and Local Government accounts ($3M+ ARR). Solution-Oriented Approach: Experience managing complex sales processes with a solution-oriented approach. Preferred Qualifications: Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the public sector and government agencies. Technical Expertise: Understanding of data management, data warehousing, and analytics. Leadership Experience: Experience in leading and managing teams. Skills and Competencies: Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop a long-term sales plan. Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills. Relationship Building: Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills. Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Compensation, Perks, and Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package that includes: Salary: A competitive base salary ranging from $157,500 to $175,000. Commission Plan: Eligibility to participate in Snowflake's commission plan, with total on-target earnings ranging from $315,000 to $350,000. Equity Plan: Eligibility to participate in Snowflake's equity plan.
