Account Executive - SLED - Southeast Region

Job SummaryNRI North America is looking for an Account Executive to join our Sales Team in our SLED vertical. This position will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities and expanding NRI’s presence in the state and local government and education (K-12 and higher education) market. As part of the sales process, they will identify key decision-makers, profile accounts, assess revenue potential, and close deals. Successful candidates will need to be analytical and data-centric, with occasional outbound efforts to our partner network. The ideal candidate should enjoy reaching out to prospects via email and phone. They should be a self-starter, energetic, entrepreneurial, creative, and have a strong desire to succeed.Essential DutiesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with Microsoft and Cisco account teamsPartner with Microsoft and Cisco as a peer during the sales process for major accountsIdentify leads and close sales with State and Local Government accounts and Educational Institutions, both K -12 and higher education.Understand and demonstrate a technical understanding of Microsoft and Cisco platform offeringsQualify sales opportunities, set proper customer expectations, and handle negotiationsDirect the sales process involving other NRI resources, such as Sales Engineers, Deployment, and Project ManagersCommunicate effectively with key stakeholdersSource opportunities. Close sales.
