Job Purpose The Account Executive- MidAtlantic at LGC will lead outstanding sales growth and cultivate strong business relationships across our diagnostic and genomic product lines! You will pioneer account strategy, focus on key decision makers, and enhance business across all product lines. Managing accounts within the designated territory and performing sales activities to nurture relationships is a crucial aspect of this role. Developing a comprehensive business strategy to meet or surpass sales growth, profitability, and customer happiness goals in the designated territory is vital. Regular travel to customers is necessary. The Mid Atlantic territory for this position includes North Carolina, South Carolina, Washington DC, Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. Key Responsibilities Develop strategic account plans to increase sales revenue and achieve targets for all assigned end-user accounts. Present LGC’s corporate capabilities through engaging presentations and educational seminars to individual customers or groups. Gain a deep understanding of all products and services and develop working knowledge of competitor products to position LGC as a top provider. Deliver precise and punctual business predictions monthly, quarterly, and annually. Become proficient with all sales, marketing, and administrative tools including SalesForce.com for tracking reports of account activities. Find opportunities, prospect, qualify, and develop customer relationships in the assigned territory. Share sales skills and account management guidelines with team members. Work closely with internal and external resources to implement key account strategies. Participate in industry events both locally and regionally. Communicate timely and effectively with sales management and other departments. Present oneself in a manner that complements LGC and improves its overall positive image. Encouraged travel of 50% or more. Qualifications Knowledge, Experience and Technical Skills Over five years of experience in the sale of IVD, biological, chemistry, immunoassay, and/or clinical products within the in vitro diagnostic market. Proven experience establishing partnerships with middle and senior-level decision-makers. Strong knowledge of Strategic and Consultative Selling. Excellent group and one-on-one presentation skills. Proficient computer skills for coordinating customer data, pricing, proposals, and using tools like SalesForce.com and MS Office. Outstanding communication and teamwork skills for effective internal and external collaboration. Highly developed forecasting capabilities and ability to build precise and timely reports. Education and/or Experience Bachelor’s Science (BSc) or equivalent experience in a related field. Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion, performing ethically and professionally. Adept self-learner capable of understanding and communicating technical details of LGC’s product portfolio. Outstanding customer service orientation, with the ability to quickly respond with product and service solutions. Ability to work independently, prioritize, and manage multiple projects. Critical thinker with strong analytical skills for continuous sales initiatives. Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
