Account Director (Remote - Canada) (Calgary, AB, CA, T3K 2L5)

Responsibilities Octave is seeking an Account Director to drive growth across the Public Sector in Canada. This is a high-impact, quota-carrying role focused on both expanding existing accounts and winning new business with enterprise software solutions that help organizations manage critical assets, infrastructure, and operations. We’re looking for a proven enterprise seller who can build trusted relationships, uncover expansion opportunities, and close complex, strategic deals. The ideal candidate will be located in Toronto, Calgary, or Vancouver. Own and grow a portfolio of Public Sector accounts across Canada, driving both net-new revenue and expansion within existing customers Build and execute strategic account plans to deepen relationships and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities Generate new pipeline through targeted outreach, networking, and partner collaboration Engage senior stakeholders and position Octave as a long-term strategic partner Lead complex deal cycles, including RFP/RFI processes, pricing strategy, and negotiations Develop compelling business cases and ROI-driven value propositions Partner cross-functionally with consulting, marketing, and customer teams to maximize account growth and customer success Maintain strong pipeline coverage and consistently exceed quota #LI-Remote #LI-RM Education / Qualifications 5+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience with a track record of exceeding quota ($1M+ preferred) Experience selling into Public Sector organizations (Provincial, Local Government, Education) Proven ability to both expand existing accounts and close net-new business Strong executive presence and relationship-building skills Self-starter mentality with the ability to generate pipeline independently Experience selling solutions related to asset management, infrastructure, capital projects, operations management, or compliance within Public Sector organizations is a plus About Octave Octave provides mission-critical software that empowers organizations to make informed decisions across every stage of the asset lifecycle - Design, Build, Operate and Protect - where performance, safety, and reliability are non-negotiable and failure is not an option.
