Job Summary:
We're seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Academic Tutor & Behavioral Coach to join our team in El Cajon/La Mesa. As a coach, you'll work closely with students and their families to provide personalized support, guidance, and mentorship. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing direct support to students through one-on-one coaching sessions, focusing on academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
Preparing engaging lessons, communicating with families, and tracking student progress in our goal-tracking system
Offering ongoing, consistent support to clients, tailored to their unique needs and goals
Maintaining regular communication with families, ensuring they're informed and involved in their child's progress
Submitting worked hours, updating client goal progress, and participating in ongoing professional development opportunities

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you'll need:
A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
At least 2 years of experience working with children and adolescents, particularly those with behavioral, social, or emotional challenges
Availability to work at least 3 weekdays from 3 pm-7 pm, with some morning and weekend hours available
Strong personal organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with online management platforms and strong communication skills, in multiple mediums (in-person, email, etc.)
A valid CA Mandated Reporter Training Certificate of Completion, or willingness to obtain one
