We are seeking a passionate and experienced tutor to provide academic support to American Indian students in our community. As a Tutor for American Indian Students, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students, helping them to succeed in their academic pursuits and reach their full potential. This role offers a flexible schedule, with up to 6 hours of work per week, Monday through Friday, and a competitive salary dependent on education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized academic support to American Indian students in various grade levels
Assist students with homework and academic assignments, promoting understanding and comprehension
Collaborate with teachers and other educators to develop and implement effective learning strategies
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting cultural sensitivity and awareness
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and educators
Understanding of child development and learning principles, with a passion for education and student success
Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations, promoting equity and inclusion
