About the position

Dartmouth-Hitchcock's Department of Psychiatry is seeking to hire a clinical psychologist specializing in pain management to join our pain management services and academic faculty. This position offers a flexible hybrid work schedule of 32-40 hours per week, with care delivered both in person and via telehealth, allowing for remote work on certain days. The role is based at our Academic Medical Center located in the picturesque northern New England region. The ideal candidate will be an expert in providing psychological services to patients suffering from chronic pain, as well as those with comorbid medical and psychological disorders. The successful candidate will possess advanced skills in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions specifically tailored for chronic pain treatment. While the primary focus of this position is clinical, there are additional responsibilities that include expert teaching and supervision of psychotherapy for psychiatry and psychology trainees. Furthermore, there are ample opportunities for research collaboration and mentorship within the Department and the broader institution. Responsibilities
• Provide expert psychological services to patients experiencing chronic pain.

Requirements
• Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology from an accredited program.

• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as a psychologist in New Hampshire.

• Specialization in pain management and experience with chronic pain patients.

• Strong skills in evidence-based psychotherapeutic interventions.

• Experience in teaching and supervising trainees.
