Academic Advisor - Natural Sciences & Math

These advisors support enrolled and prospective students by providing guidance on academic programs, processing degree-related documents, assisting with orientation and recruitment, and managing student records throughout their academic careers.

ā¢ Process degree plans, graduation applications, grade changes, petitions, readmission requests, and financial aid reinstatements.
ā¢ Maintain and update student files and academic records.
ā¢ Assist with orientation sessions and recruitment activities for new, transfer, high school, and community college students.
ā¢ Provide retention support to students on probation and manage Veteran's Administration paperwork and graduation verification letters.
ā¢ Level 1 salary: $38,100 - $42,850; Level 2 salary: $43,000 - $48,900.
ā¢ Level 1 requires at least 1 year of directly related experience; Level 2 requires 3 years of directly related experience.
ā¢ Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent specialized training; STEM education or teaching experience preferred.
ā¢ Positions require a background criminal history check due to security sensitivity.
