The Lockheed Martin Artificial Intelligence Center (LAIC) is seeking a highly skilled early career professional to head the AI Consulting portfolio, a role that requires a unique blend of technical expertise in software engineering and AI/ML, as well as strong business acumen and communication skills. Basic Qualifications Basic Qualifications : Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience • Previous experience building machine learning models by way of work, projects, courses, etc. • Experience with developing software and software engineering best practices, specifically python. • Must have strong problem-solving skills, business acumen, and demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills. • Must be a US citizen Desired skills • Expertise in natural language processing. • Expertise applying deep learning, especially CNNs, RNNS, LSTMs, and reinforcement learning • Experience with integration of data products into customer applications. • Experience with or knowledge of data engineering. • Experience with or knowledge of AWS or other cloud providers • Experience with or expertise in manufacturing and/or engineering processes. • Story-telling and data visualization. • Proficiency in Python. Work Schedule 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week Select the Telework classification for this position Employee that will telework full-time National Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $73,200 - $129,030. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer. Premium Pay Statement Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $84,200 - $145,935.
