High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous office or clerical experience preferred. Experience working in a school setting preferred. Experience with learning management systems (e.g., Schoology) preferred. Advanced computer skills and familiarity with Google Workspace (especially Google Sheets and Google Forms) preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and staff. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to maintain confidentiality of student information. POSITION SUMMARY The Summer Term Office Professional provides clerical and organizational support for the A2 Virtual+ summer program. This position supports enrollment, communication, and record-keeping processes, ensuring accurate and timely coordination of student information. The majority of work will occur during the week leading into summer term and the first week of the program, with additional support provided on an as-needed basis throughout the summer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Assist students and families with the enrollment process for summer term. Collaborate with A2 Virtual+ administration and building staff to resolve issues related to building availability or other scheduling concerns. Provide limited student support as needed during the summer term. Manage sections and enrolling students in PowerSchool. Maintain accurate records of time worked and tasks completed. Be available on an on-call basis (as needed) after the initial work period. Other duties as assigned OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong understanding of computer systems, including spreadsheets (e.g., Google Sheets, Excel), and ability to manage and organize data accurately. Ability to learn and navigate district systems (PowerSchool, Schoology, etc.). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues. Ability to build positive working relationships with students, families, and staff. Flexibility and adaptability in a part-time, on-call work structure.
