Job description: The position is responsible for all Accounts Payable activities, including processing all invoices and paying all suppliers. Assist Accounting Manager with month end processes.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Main - Accounts Payable
Processing Accounts Payable invoices.
Maintaining Accounts Payable inbox.
Generating weekly check run, and on-demand checks as needed.
Initiating wire transfers and ACH payments as necessary.
Monitoring international shipment records.
Maintaining inventory in-transit list
Maintaining vendor accounts.
Processing Monthly credit card statement.
Monitoring return of goods to vendors.
Inventory reconciliations
Month end and accrual reconciliations and entries
Assisting as necessary with applying customer payments to open invoices
Special projects as requested by Accounting Manager
Qualifications:
Two-year administrative degree, or two years related experience required.
Ability to work independently, be a self-motivator, and work well in a team setting.
Must have a proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Problem-solving skills
Ability to maintain strict adherence to confidentiality when dealing with employee sensitive information.
