3pts Co-op Ambassador (Biz Dev Role)

Type: Part-time Contractor (approx. 12 hours/week, flexible schedule) Location: Remote (US-based) Compensation: $1,000 per month + 3% commission About 3pts Co-op is a back-of-house support system for artists and makers navigating the business side of creativity. We provide concierge-style support, community, programming, and access to trusted experts so creatives can spend more time in their practice and less time figuring everything out alone. Our goal is simple: help artists and makers build sustainable, thriving businesses around what they make. About the Role We’re looking for someone to act as an ambassador for 3pts Co-op. This is a relationship-driven role focused on connecting with artists and makers, understanding where they are in their journey, and introducing the right people to our team when there’s a strong fit. This is not a high-pressure sales role. It’s about thoughtful outreach, genuine connection, and helping people find a resource that could meaningfully support them. What You’ll Do • Identify and reach out to prospective members (both warm and cold) • Start conversations with artists and makers and learn about their work and business • Introduce aligned, interested leads to the 3pts team • Follow up with leads and keep conversations moving in a natural, respectful way • Serve as a warm and thoughtful first point of contact for 3pts Co-op • Support the team during the sales and onboarding process where needed What We’re Looking For You don’t need to check every box, but you should feel aligned with most of the below: • Some experience in sales, business development, or relationship-based outreach • Comfortable initiating conversations, including reaching out to people you don’t know • Naturally social, curious, and energized by meeting new people • A background in or strong connection to creative fields (art, design, craft, etc.) • An understanding of the challenges of building a creative business • Able to communicate clearly and thoughtfully without feeling overly “salesy” • A good listener who can meet people where they are • Persistent in a grounded way and comfortable following up • Self-directed and able to manage your time in a flexible, part-time role • Organized enough to track conversations and stay on top of outreach Who You’ll Be Connecting With Our customers are North America-based artists and makers building businesses around tangible work. This includes people working in: Fibers, glass, painting, jewelry, wood, ceramics, lighting, furniture, industrial design, and more. They are serious about their work and are actively trying to grow and sustain their businesses.
