3D Associate Technical Designer – Walmart Kids Apparel

Golden Touch is a family owned and operated wholesale apparel manufacturer specializing in children’s apparel. They are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled 3D Associate Technical Designer to support WM Kids apparel programs, focusing on 3D pattern corrections and ensuring accurate execution throughout all fit stages.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate closely with the Technical Design team to measure, adjust, and execute required e-pattern corrections across all fit stages prior to productionApply Technical Design feedback to update 3D assets, ensuring corrections are accurately reflected in patterns, graded nests, and visual rendersOwn and manage the workflow, prioritization, and deadlines for all 3D submissions in alignment with WM Kids production calendarsPartner with overseas offices and factory-based 3D teams to ensure clear communication and timely execution of updatesConfirm that revised 3D assets support physical sample feasibility and meet brand and retailer specificationsEnsure all 3D renders, measurements, and graded nests remain accurate, current, and production-readyMaintain organized documentation and version control for all 3D pattern updates and submissionsSkillsAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in Technical Design, Patternmaking, Fashion Design, or a related field preferred1–3 years of experience in 3D technical design, patternmaking, or related apparel development rolesStrong understanding of patternmaking, pattern corrections, grading, and fit across children's apparel categoriesHands-on experience working with 3D pattern software and digital e-patternsFamiliarity with mass-market production calendars and retailer-specific requirements (WM experience a plus)Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to collaborate cross-functionally with Technical Design teams and overseas partnersComfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentCompany OverviewGolden Touch is a manufacturer and retailer of clothing products.
