Undergraduate students will be paid at the lower rate; while graduate students will be paid at the higher rate. These rates do not included vacation pay nor statutory pay. Language of Work: Anglais | English Requirements and Nature of Work: Nature of work: This course focuses on helping students develop oral fluency and intercultural communication skills in small group settings. Emphasis is placed on strengthening academic and everyday vocabulary and building the communicative confidence needed for undergraduate study at the University of Ottawa. Course Dates: July 6 to August 28, 2026 Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday: 9:30 – 11:00 am Comments: This course is offered exclusively online . Requirements: Capacity to facilitate group work through a student-centered, task-based learning approach and to explain the English verb system, sentence structure, and academic vocabulary to second language learners. Previous ESL training and classroom experience is an asset; classroom multimedia experience is an asset; excellent command of the English language; interview may be required.
