2026 QA/Soft Dev in Test paid intern (May and August hires)

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is looking for Software Developer in Test or Quality Assurance Engineer interns to help their IT departments develop and maintain test automation and execute test plans. This internship provides an opportunity to gain practical experience and develop professional skills while supporting technology that furthers the mission of the Church. Responsibilities Work Schedule: This is a 40 hour per week internship that is expected to last approximately 4 months. Normal office hours are between 8:00am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. You will need to be able to work during this time frame with no extended absences Skills Internships are for current temple worthy members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints You should be currently enrolled (or within one year of your graduation date) from an accredited college or university Technology background is highly preferred Highly computer literate and familiar with various operating system and internet browser environments and cloud technology Excellent communication skills for interacting with and providing information to management levels will be needed Project management experience is desired Exposure to software testing Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java/J2EE, C#, JavaScript, XML, C#) Familiarity with applications/frameworks (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Azure, Git, AWS, Selenium, Webdriver.io and Cypress) Familiarity with databases Time management skills Ability to interact well in a team environment Self motivated Strong attention to detail Scripting or coding will be required in interview Benefits Interns do get the option of enrolling in a high deductible medical plan.
