Job Description Summary

RAs serve to facilitate a cooperative, considerate group living environment and to promote learning in the floor and hall community. They promote and enforce standards for appropriate behavior in individuals and in floor communities. RAs are expected to develop a sense of community by initiating and implementing social and educational activities and programs. They serve as information resources about Residential Living and Saint Leo University.

Primary Responsibilities of an RA:
? Community Development
? Team Member
? Referral Agent & Peer Leader
? Administrator
? Programmer
? University Representative.

Required Education/Experience/Skills:

Ability to program effectively both individually and collaboratively.

Ability to handle confrontation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Saint Leo student residing on campus for the summer break.

Minimum Qualifications:

One year of experience as a Resident Assistant.
