Position Type: Full-Time | Contract | Travel Assignment

Dates: July 28, 2025 – May 28, 2026

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Grade Levels: 5th–8th (Resource Setting)

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction in small groups and individual sessions
• Monitor and document student progress
• Adapt instructional materials and methods to meet student needs
• Collaborate with general education staff and related service providers
• Maintain compliance with special education regulations
• Communicate regularly with families and support teams

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Special Education
• Active South Carolina Special Education teaching certification (or ability to obtain prior to start)
• Previous experience with middle school students and resource settings preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability for travel assignments
