1099 Physician - APP Supervision - Virtual Health Assessment (100% Remote)

About The Role
You will be a supervising physician to Advanced Practice Providers providing health assessment services to Oscar Health members via telemedicine. You are not expected to provide patient care.
You will report into the Director, Virtual Health Assessment.

Pay Transparency
$300 per APP per month for APP Supervision duties. Oscar Medical Group will cover your malpractice insurance.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations
ā¢ Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines
ā¢ Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
ā¢ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
ā¢ Board-certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
ā¢ MD or DO from an accredited medical school
ā¢ Supervision experience of Nurse Practitioners (NP) and Physician Assistants (PA)
ā¢ Must live in Georgia
ā¢ Must have an active state license in Georgia
ā¢ 3+ years experience in an outpatient family or internal medicine practice.
ā¢ Strong understanding of risk adjustment methodologies, including HCC coding principles
ā¢ Familiarity with HEDIS measures, including their role in quality improvement and performance measurement
Bonus Points
ā¢ 2+ years of Telemedicine experience
ā¢ Fluent in Spanish
ā¢ IMLCC (Interstate Medical Licensure Compact) physician license or eligible for IMLCC
ā¢ Licensed in OMG states: MI, IL, CT, PA, NC, OK, VA, TX, FL, OH, TN, MO
